“It was like living in a war zone” says local councillor of Hallowe’en scenes in Kilkenny and Carlow

“It was like living in a warzone” – that’s how a local councillor’s described weekend scenes.

As reported by KCLR News over the weekend, a number of people were in touch saying they were left in fear in pockets of Kilkenny city, Callan and Carlow town, after fireworks were hurled at individuals, cars and homes.
