The KCLR Hurling Podcast Kilkenny Intermediate Club Team of the Year has been revealed — with Danesfort leading the way after their county title success.
The team, selected following much debate on the podcast, also features players from James Stephens, Young Irelands, and Dunnamaggin.
In goal is Paddy Hogan of Danesfort.
The full-back line is made up of Sean Bergin (James Stephens), Diarmaid Phelan (Danesfort), and Jim Conlon (Young Irelands).
It’s an all-Danesfort half-back line of Daire O’Neill, Paul Murphy, and Des Dunne.
Midfield sees Cian Kenny of the Village paired with Paddyy Langton of Gowran.
In attack, the half-forward line features Cathal Kearney (Danesfort), Luke Scanlon (James Stephens), and Sam Hayes (Danesfort)
The full-forward trio includes Anthony Ireland Wall (Danesfort), Dennis Walsh (Dunnamaggin), and Robbie Walsh (Danesfort).
