Liam Carroll, Acting Fire Chief with Carlow Fire Service spoke to KCLR Live about the most challenging fires they have battled in years on Mt Leinster.
Firefighters from Carlow and Kilkenny, Coillte staff and helicopter services were among those tackling the blaze on Saturday and Sunday.
