The playground at the Castle Park in Kilkenny is re-opening on Tuesday morning.
On Monday it was confirmed the playground was closed for further notice for essential repairs needed to make sure it was a safe environment for children.
The Office of Public Works has now confirmed that this work has been done.
The OPW says the playground will be open again from 8.30 am.
