A new funding scheme’s being piloted by Kilkenny County Council to encourage city cafes to extend their opening hours after 6pm.
Grants of between €350 and €750 will be given to successful applicants who commit to open until at least 8pm on two Thursdays of 17th April and 29th May offering innovative and cultural evening events.
