Kilkenny County Council to ask Environment Minister to halt boundary review process

Kilkenny County Council is to write to the Environment Minister asking him to bring an immediate end to the Waterford boundary review process.
Members met yesterday and unanimously agreed on a resolution to send a letter to Minister Alan Kelly calling for a halt to the review and asking him to to support the setting up of a structure to support regional cooperation including the establishment of an implementation committee for the development of the environs of Waterford.
The deadline for submissions passed last Friday and now a decision is awaited from the 3 man Commission.
