Kilkenny County Council could be in line to rejig the recently implemented parking measures for the city.
There’s been some controversy about certain aspects of the plan which took effect in January (details here).
Earlier this week we heard from a disability badge holder who was left disappointed by the introduction of a two-hour cap on a stay in a disabled parking bay. If you missed that, listen back here:
Now Cllr Maria Dollard, who’s due on The KCLR Daily after 10 this morning, says senior officials at the local authority may be in line to relook at it all, noting; “Tim Butler has agreed that they will look at it again and review the parking spaces that they have time limited, also the Kilkenny Access Group that I’m a member of have done an audit of accessible parking spaces in Kilkenny.”
