Leinster Co-operative Marts has appointed Kilkenny native Paddy Galvin as its new General Manager.
Mr Galvin brings extensive experience in agribusiness and livestock systems, having worked with Tirlán and managed his own farming enterprise.
He succeeds the late Jimmy Walsh, who served the organisation for over 40 years and is remembered for his major contribution to the farming community.
Leinster Marts was established 56 years ago by the amalgamation of Carlow, Kilcullen (Co. Kildare) and Borris (Co. Carlow).
