There are four local elements to the plans
Kilkenny projects linked to Waterford’s North Quays site will progress.
That’s the assurance from the local Director of Services for Planning & Economic Development.
Sean McKeown updated councillors yesterday at the Piltown Municipal District monthly meeting after concerns were raised when Waterford County Council terminated its private sector development partnership with Falcon Real Estate who did not meet contractual obligations.
Kilkenny County Council partnered with its Waterford counterpart for the Urban Regeneration Development Fund, which helps local authorities to redevelop brownfield sites.
And on The Way It Is last evening Mr McKeown outlined where plans are at for the four Kilkenny projects as well as the overall development.
