Kilkenny property agent says families with €700 to pay on rent being turned away

A property agent in Kilkenny says he has to turn away families with €700 a month to spend on rent.

Fran Grincell says he simply cannot get properties for them in that price range.

It comes as concern grows over rent hikes locally – one listener told KCLR of a landlord putting up his monthly rent by 45%.
