Kilkenny will today name its Student Enterprise Award winners

Students from 11 Kilkenny schools will be gathering shortly for the Enterprise Awards county final.

Lyrath Estate Hotel hosts the event from 9:30 this morning with the exhibition open to the public from lunchtime.

Local group Burnchurch are set to perform while awards will be handed out this afternoon (1:45pm-3pm) in a range of categories.

Some of the victorious are set to move onwards to compete in the national contest in May.
