Kilkenny woman Catriona Carey has appeared before Dublin District Court where new charges against her were revealed.
The 46-year-old financial and business advisor, with an address at Rochford Manor, Graiguecullen, County Carlow, has been accused of dozens of counts of breaking company law for allegedly providing false information and financial returns.
The former Ireland hockey international met Gardaí by arrangement yesterday morning to be charged before she was brought to court.
There she faced 46 fresh charges under the Companies Act for offences which allegedly occurred between 2019 and 2022.
The case was adjourned until the 14th of February for mention with a further adjournment set to be sought that date to allow prosecutors complete a book of evidence which needs to be served on the accused before the case is sent forward to the circuit court.
