A Kilkenny woman in Uganda says everything’s under control with regard to the Ebola outbreak.
Concern had been expressed that the disease could spread rapidly across Africa following 80 deaths and hundreds of suspected cases in the Democratic Republic of Congo which led to the World Health Organisation labelling it a “public health emergency of international concern”.
Uganda too has some confirmations too – Goresbridge native Miriam Donohoe’s based in Kampala, where she’s set to lead a convoy of 11 ambulances from Kenya to Kampala next weekend, and says so far it’s life as normal there;
