A Kilkenny woman has collected 2 top international awards at the ‘Cook Book Oscars’.
‘Fishwives’ scooped top prize in the charity category at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in China at the weekend before going on to win the Best Fish and Seafood book in the world.
The book is written by Mag Kirawan from Goatsbridge Trout Farm Thomastown and features a selection of recipes from women in Ireland from Diverse backgrounds and professions.
The book was published for charity with proceeds going to Hospice Africa Uganda.
