Thousands of farmers have turned out to protest in Dublin this lunchtime.
The Irish Farmers Association says farmers in the grain, dairy and pig sectors are facing a crisis due to political interference in markets and price volatility.
Busloads have travelled up from Carlow and Kilkenny to join in the demonstration which is happening outside the offices of the European commission.
