Local Gardaí re-issue warning over home and car security

Gardai are warning people in both Carlow and Kilkenny to be vigilant when leaving their houses, businesses or cars unattended.

A number of cars and business premises in the locality have been targeted and broken into by criminals who believe they will find cash and other valuables within, particularly when these valuables are on view from outside.

Seargeant Peter McConnon of Carlow Garda station was speaking to KCLR in an effort to track down the perpatrators.

He’s appealing to people to be mindful of what they’re keeping in their cars, keep things out of sight and always ensure your car is alarmed.
