The Chief Executive of the Citizens’ Information Board says there will be no job losses locally as their board membership is to be cut by more than 80%.
A consultation event is taking place in Carlow this morning for the managers, staff and volunteers in their Kilkenny, Carlow, and surrounding branches.
Citizens’ Information Service and their financial advise service, MABS, are cutting their boards from 93 to 16 regional managers.
Speaking to KCLR News, Chief Executive Angela Black says this is going to be a much more efficient system.
