Locals protest treatment of greyhounds in China

A group of locals are among those protesting the exportation of greyhounds in Dublin this afternoon.
Today’s protest follows a number of demonstrations earlier in the month at the sending of Irish greyhounds to China’s only racetrack in the city of Macau.
Protesting organisations say that underperforming dogs there are put down at the rate of one a day.
Speaking to KCLR News this morning, Kilkenny activist Liz Campbell says a number of people from Carlow and Kilkenny are on their way to Dublin now.
