Major flood prevention works get underway on rail line at Waterford resulting in tweaks to the service which could impact those in Kilkenny and Carlow

Irish Rail is reminding you that major flood prevention works on the Waterford line will result in a number of routes being affected from today.

It means that between 8am and 2.30pm on Mondays to Thursdays until the end of November (and again from early January to the end of March) there’ll be bus transfers between Kilkenny and Waterford.
