A man arrested by armed Gardai in County Wicklow yesterday is facing charges.
Aged in his thirties, he was one of two people detained when Gardaí searched a house near Baltinglass, back up by the Armed Support Unit and discovered a number of firearms had been recovered during the search, including two semi automatic pistols with ammunition and a replica grenade.
The second person, a woman in her twenties, has since been released without charge.
The man is due before Bray District Court today.
