€2.1million worth of cocaine has been seized in the South East.
30kgs of the drug, which is subject to analysis, was discovered in Rosslare, County Wexford this morning (Thursday, 10th Oct) as part of a joint operation involving the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, Wexford Divisional Drugs Unit and Revenue Customs Service.
One man aged in his fifties was arrested and has been detained in the South Eastern Region under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Investigations continue.
