The farmer who lost his life in a tragic accident in Ballycallan yesterday is being remembered today as ‘a friendly, good-humoured family man’.
He died in an incident involving a loader on the farm at Clonard yesterday evening.
He’s been named locally as Paul Harrison aged in his 60’s and well known in the farming community.
Another man had also been seriously injured in the accident.
Kilkenny IFA county chairman John Bambrick says there was “great shock and sadness” at news of the tragedy.
It happened yesterday evening after 6pm on a farm in Clonard, Ballycallan, Co. Kilkenny where the men were using a loader.
