Man due before Carlow District Court today in connection with stabbing

A man is due before a special sitting Carlow District court today charged in connection with a stabbing in the town last weekend.

He was arrested in Clondalkin in Dublin yesterday and taken to Carlow Garda Station for questioning in relation to the incident that happened in the carpark of the Fairgreen Shopping Centre on Sunday morning.

The victim – a man in his mid-twenties – was hospitalised after sustaining serious facial and leg injuries.
