Man who intervened in South Kilkenny burglary assaulted as culprits fled

Gardaí are looking for information after a man in South Kilkenny was assaulted as he tried to intervene in a burglary.

It happened at a house in Graiguenakill, Glenmore at about midday last Thursday the 26th of January.

Three men came onto the property and appeared to go into the back of the house.

However, neighbours saw what was going on and one man approached the intruders while another phoned for the Gardaí.
