Man killed along with wife in Donegal was a native of Kilkenny

A 42 year old man is being questioned by gardai over the deaths of two pensioners in Donegal this morning.

The bodies of Jim and Kathleen Cuddihy, both in their 70’s were found at a bungalow in Carndonagh, shortly after 9 a.m.

Jim is a native of Piltown in Kilkenny and moved there in the 1960’s and was a retired teacher.

Gardai arrested a man in his 40s at the scene of the incident, he’s being questioned in Buncrana.

The office of the State Pathologist has been notified and the property is sealed off for a full examination.
