Man killed in road collision in Kilkenny named locally
A man who died in a single car collision in South Kilkenny yesterday has been named locally as Michael ‘Mickey’ Hoare.
The man who was in his 70’s, died following the collision which happened at the Rower between Graiguenamanagh and New Ross at around 2.30pm yesterday afternoon.
The driver of the car – who was the sole occupant – was pronounced dead a short time later.
