A man is being treated for serious injuries in hospital following a road crash on the M9 in County Carlow yesterday.
The incident happened at Junction 6 Ballybannon at around five past seven yesterday morning.

A section of the motorway was closed for several hours.
A man aged in his 40s, who was seriously injured, and was airlifted to Beaumont Hospital for treatment.

No other injuries have been reported by Gardaí, and enquiries are ongoing.
