“This has been a huge issue locally, with the road being in a state of very bad disrepair”, that’s the view of the Mayor of Carlow, after resurfacing was announced for a major road in the town.
The resurfacing of Brownshill Road in Carlow will commence today, and continue until Wednesday the 4th of September.
The works will extend from the O’Brien Road area to the Paddocks in the town, with the remainder of the road forming part of next year’s resurfacing programme.
Speaking to KCLR News Cllr Fintan Phelan says there may be a bit of disruption but end goal will be worth it
