Minister Hogan says court process must take Dan Morrissey jobs & economic impact into account
Minister Phil Hogan says it’s very important that a court process which starts today involving Dan Morrissey’s in Carlow takes into account the jobs that Morrissey’s provides and the economic impact it has on the county.
The local representative has met with directors of the company and says banks need to do everything possible to put together a survival plan for the company.
Last Wednesday evening, receivers locked the gates of their Carlow Plants putting 160 jobs in the balance and the company had to go to court to apply for an examiner which was granted on Friday evening.
