Minister in Carlow to talk about Tús

Minister Kevin Humphries is in Bagenalstown today.

The Minister of State for Social Protection is visiting the offices of Carlow County Development Partnership to talk with community groups and those involved in the Tús Scheme.

The scheme which began in 2011 has already contributed 5 million euro to the local economy.

Speaking to KCLR, CEO of the Development Partnership, Mary Walsh says they’ll be calling for a training budget for Tús participants who require additional training and upskilling.
