The locally based Minister of State has begun her first official visit in the role abroad.
Jennifer Murnane O’Connor who has special responsibility For Public Health, Wellbeing, and The National Drugs Strategy, was charged with visiting Malta and Cyprus this month as part of a tranche of ministerial visits on behalf of the Irish Government.

Her visit to Cyprus is underway and already she’s held meetings with UN Officials, the Minister of Health, Irish Embassy Officials, and CMP Laboratory Staff as well as she later met members of Cyprus National Addictions Authority to share insights on national strategies for effectively addressing and tackling substance misuse and addictions.
