Mount Juliet Estate’s new owner notify’s CCPC of proposed acquisition

The 5-star Mount Juliet Estate hotel and golf resort in County Kilkenny looks set to get a new owner.

RTE has reported that The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission as been informed of Tipberry Ltd’s proposed acquisition of Mount Juliet Unlimited Company, owned by Mr. English.

The 500 acre estate was put up for sale in April of this year with a guide price of €45 million.

Mr English also owns and operates Johnstown Estate Hotel and Trim Castle Hotel in Co Meath.
