The fixtures for the National hurling and football league have been confirmed for next year.
The Carlow footballers will be the first local side in action and face Antrim in Belfast on Sunday February 1st.
Champions Kilkenny face Cork on Valentines Day in Pairc ui Rinn with a 7pm throw in.
Carlow hurlers first game is at home to Wicklow at Dr Cullen Park on Sunday 15th at 2.
