Ireland’s newest political party has its Carlow launch later.
Aontú has been set up by former Sinn Féin TD Peadar Tóibín and 9 councillors across the country have so far joined with 1,400 members.

His aim is to get 3,000 additional activists involved around the country.
The Seven Oaks Hotel will host the group from 7:30pm.
