An interesting new tourism project could be launching in Kilkenny this summer – if everything goes to plan.
Work is ongoing between the County Council and local business man, David Harkin.
David’s company Bizlocator sets up touchscreen kiosks in places like hotels that tourists can use to see what’s available in the locality for them to visit.
Now he’s in the process of developing these kiosks to be set up in out-doors locations around the county.
Speaking to KCLR News, David Harkin says if it all goes ahead, it will hopefully be a major boost to the tourism industry locally.
