A new TV series is searching for restoration projects in Carlow-Kilkenny.
The programme for RTE One, which is not yet named, will involve architect Hugh Wallace travelling around Ireland to visit old mills, school houses and townhouses that are in need of major work.

More people may be considering doing up old buildings since the Government’s new “action plan for rural development”.
This means grants are available in rural communities for this work.
