New Victim and Community Engagement office opens in Kilkenny Garda station
It will serve the Kilkenny/Carlow division with a monthly clinic for crime victims
Local Gardaí have stepped up their community engagement efforts.
A new office was officially launched this morning at Kilkenny Garda station.
It means that the services already offered to victims of crime are being expanded to include a community engagement portfolio.
Chief Superintendent Dominic Hayes has been telling KCLR more about it.
He says it will open on the second Wednesday of every month and they would like people to come to them with any issues, positive or negative, that they would like dealt with.
