The doors open today on Thomastown Library’s new state-of-the-art building.
The modern facility which cost close to €5million will offer not just books but also study spaces, digital services and areas for community and cultural events.
The library will serve as a safe, inclusive hub for people of all ages, with hopes it will mirror the success of Kilkenny’s Mayfair Library and become a central meeting place for Thomastown and the surrounding areas.
