Old Mayfair Building in Kilkenny to be turned into office block

One local councillor has come out against a decision to turn the old Mayfair Building on the Brewery site in Kilkenny into an office block.

Kilkenny County Councillors voted in favour of converting the premises for commercial use at yesterdays meeting.

There had been hopes that the historic building could be used as a community amenity.
