On World Suicide Prevention Day people in Carlow and Kilkenny are encouraged to ‘Change the Narrative’

It’s World Suicide Prevention Day and we’re being encouraged to ‘change the narrative’.

Hundreds of people sadly die by suicide in Ireland each year and today a range of events is taking place in person and online which you’re invited to be a part of in a bid to prevent a further loss of life.

Or you can mark the date in your own way at home or at work.

We recently heard on The KCLR Daily of how one local man’s kindness prevented a woman from taking drastic action in Kilkenny city.
