There’s outcry locally with confirmation that a bus service between Waterford and Dublin Airport will cease operating next weekend.
Many turned out at a public meeting earlier this year when it was mooted that Expressway Route 4 was being pulled but there were claims it was being saved, however the National Transport Authority has indicated it’s being replaced by a new Public Service Obligation route between Waterford and Carlow only, passengers then expected to make their own arrangements to move onto Dublin – and this provision’s subject to funding.
