Carlow becomes a cultural capital for the next five days.
The Pan Celtic International Festival rolls out until Saturday with a host of events including gigs, walking tours, exhibitions and more all between them depicting the cultures of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany, Cornwall, and the Isle of Man.
The programme begins at 4:30pm this afternoon with live music in Tullys followed at 7pm with Teacht le Chéile, an informal get together, on the grounds of Carlow College St Patrick’s and Visual.
At 7:30pm the welcoming concert takes place at the GB Shaw Theatre with the Seisiún na Féile at the Dinn Rí from 9pm.
