Parents of children with disabilities to march in Carlow this morning

It’s time for the public to stand up and be a voice for vulnerable children and young adults.
That’s the message coming from local parents of people with disabilities who’ve organised a march to take place in Carlow this morning.
It comes after last week’s announcement that plans for an overnight respite service in Carlow/Kilkenny had completely fallen through.
Local parent, Helen Fahy told KCLR that their children can’t afford to wait for the Health Service to construct a purpose-built home for respite.
