Jason Paul Ryan was born and reared in Kilkenny and while he was interested in soccer as a young man he was called more by the stage and performing.
Over years he has been involved in the entertainment business in one form or another, but musical theatre holds a special place in his life.

His musical theatre company are currently putting the finishing touches to their latest production, which makes its Irish Republic debut in a few weeks time in the Set Theatre Kilkenny.
