Plans are well underway for the National Summertime Ball which takes place in Kilkenny in August.
The official launch took place earlier this week – with RTE’s Anne Cassin launching the event.

The Ball has been established to work with charities across the country – this year, the team are working with Diabetes Ireland and Straight Ahead (Scoliosis) for their first event.
Speaking to KCLR, event coordinator Michael Cahill says preparations are in full swing for the event.
