Feedback on a proposed bus service improvements along the Graignamanagh / Kilkenny corridor’s being sought by the National Transport Authority.
The proposals focus on increasing bus frequency and improving access to reliable public transport for rural residents.
Plans include the introduction of a new seven-day week service between the two points which will serve Borris, Goresbridge, Gowran and Clara in four daily return journeys.
It would also improve connections to other services in the area, including Routes 4, 881, 882 and 887.
The new services will be integrated with the TFI Go app with free travel passes accepted too.
NTA CEO Anne Graham said; “These proposed changes have the potential to significantly enhance local connectivity, and we want to ensure they are informed by the voices of the communities they serve. Please take part in the consultation.”
