Potentially serious traffic incident averted by Kilkenny Gardaí

A potentially serious traffic incident was averted locally in recent days.

The Kilkenny Roads Policing Unit stopped a tractor and trailer over the weekend after noticing its load of bales was not secure.

The vehicle was grounded until strapping was applied.

Gardaí say the consequences of the bales falling would have been serious for other road users/pedestrians and they’re calling on those in the agri sector to ‘Think Road Safety’.
