“There’s “pure confusion” in Brussels” – so says Kilkenny man, John Bryan who’s a member of the European Social and Economic Forum.

He says the whole debacle is creating nothing but worry for all concerned.

Speaking to KCLR, the former IFA president says if those opposing Theresa May’s deal at least had a clear view of what they wanted, that would be something.

Meanwhile, local Sinn Féin TD Kathleen Funchion says she thinks they’ll have to go back to the people for a second vote.

She says an extension to the March deadline looks like it will have to be a foregone conclusion at this stage as well.
