Carlow got their National football league campaign off to a disastrous start on Sunday as they slumped to a 2-24 to 1-8 loss to Tipperary.
Anthony Rainbow’s side had to play almost a full hour with just 14 men after Paul Broderick was sent off in the 11 minute for a tussle with the visitors corner back.
