Relay for Life Kilkenny comes to an end this afternoon

Relay for Life is continuing at the Watershed in Kilkenny this morning.

The annual 24-hour event, in aid of the Irish Cancer Society, got underway at 3 o clock yesterday, and runs until 3 o clock this afternoon.

Today’s events include a black and amber lap with the Kilkenny hurlers at midday.

Hundreds of people have been taking part in the ‘Relay for Life’ since it began yesterday.

Brenda Little spoke to KCLR a short time ago, she says lots of people turned up for the event.
